Cheese + Bread

After sleeping for a solid 10 hrs, we set off to bike around the city for the day. We soon realized we couldn't figure out how to rent bikes, so we decided to walk. We began the day by having lunch in the luxemberg gardens. We bought some meats, cheeses, + baguettes and had a picnic. It was delicious. We had so much leftover that we snacked on it all day.

We continued on our walk to the Notre Dame church, went in + took lots of pictures.

Then we headed north to Montmarte + the Sacre Coure church. Getting to the church, we had to climb a really steep hill with a park on it.
We stopped towards the top + ate some more cheese, meat, + bread. We continued up + saw the Sacre Coure, but unfortunately we couldn't take pictures inside. Since the church is on a hill, you can see most of Paris from it. It was a wonderful sight to see. We preceded to walk around the shops + restaurants + sat down at a cafe for a chocolate croissant (me) + beer (Scott). We were next to a mixed pug + cavalier king charles spaniel + had a conversation with the owner about her dog. Since she was speaking mostly french, we just nodded. All we got was that something was going on with the dog's nose.

After our snack we jumped on the metro en route to the champs elysees to see the arc de tromphe.

We took some quick pictures + headed for another picnic under the eiffel tower. Which is where we are now, looking up at the Eiffel Tower with cheese, turkey, bread, + wine. Au revoir.
