So we got into Amsterdam soon after + walked to our hostel, aka a houseboat. I'm laying in my bunk-bed as Scott showers because I have nowhere else to sit! The boat smells like a mix between cigarettes + old boat. The electricity isn't working, but Scott did say the shower was hot. Mom + dad, now I'm backpacking!

Plane,Train, Boat
We got off our plane around 11:15am. We went to get train tickets into Amsterdam Central but the next one wasn't until 12:45. So we got lunch. I had a yummy wheat baguette with brie + Scott had some crazy club sandwich + we leisurely ate + chitchatted. At about 12, we decided to go find where our train would arrive since we always need extra time. Well then we realized Amsterdam is an hour ahead of Dublin + London. We missed the train! But no worries because our actual ticket was only for the train not for the time!

ReplyDeletethat's what they call ambience and that's where you flip flops come in real handy (Don't want to make contact with any surfaces.) Try to hit an art museum where you can see the Dutch masters.
