Stupid farangs

Marissa + I had lots of fun so far today, except that we both felt sick all morning. I feel fine now + we just took showers + are resting in our rooms for a little until we go to Thai Boxing tonight.

So we woke up + had a great breakfast at the hostel. First hostel breakfast that was real food. Eggs, toast, hot dogs (?), + beef pad thai kind of thing (skipped out on that at 9am). We went on a river taxi to go see the Grand Palace, where the king lives. Except Marissa heard that he doesn't actually live there. We had to rent shirts because our shawls didn't make the cut. We thought they just wanted to make it obvious (if it wasn't already) that we were farangs.

Then we went to Wat Pho with the largest buddah ever. It was about the size of a basketball court. We called it Wat Fo, but fyi it is Wat Po.

Then we took a tuk tuk back to Kaoh Sam Road + went shopping + had lunch at Chabad. But Marissa still felt a little sick + I needed a nap/shower too so we are back for a little rest + relaxation. Oh + air conditioning too!
